About the Author:
Satish Chandra is a well known history scholar who taught at Jawaharlal Nehru University and specialized in Indian medieval history. He also did served as the chairman of University Grants Commission of India and was also president of Indian History Congress. Satish Chandra has often been described as India’s most influential historian and is credited to be India’s leading scholar about the Mughal rule. His book on medieval Indian history changed the national curriculum when it was included as a textbook for schools and colleges.
